On Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders came into Denver in need of a win. Putting the difficult events of their week in the rearview, the team came out and looked spectacular from the first drive. Getting their season back on track, the Raiders were victorious over the Denver Broncos, securing a 34-24 win in the Mile High City.
One player who came to play on Sunday was running back Kenyan Drake, recording his first touchdown in a Raiders uniform in the Raiders win. With just over 30 seconds left in the first half, Derrick Carr looked downfield and connected with Drake for a touchdown.
Meep meep.

Drake finished his day with four carries for 34 yards, two targets for 39 yards, and two scores. “I just try to make the most of my opportunities. Whenever my number is called, whether it's in the return game, pass game, running game … I came here to make plays, so that's what I hope to do as the season goes on,” Drake said in a press conference following the Raiders win. Drake making plays as the season goes on will be important for the Raiders as they continue to battle with the Los Angeles Chargers for top spot in the AFC West.
The Raiders will host the Eagles this Sunday the 24th at 4:05 PM ET.
